Building your own care package allows you to customize each item according to the recipient's interests, needs, or preferences. It's not just about what you put in, but the thought and effort that goes into selection.

Shadow Breeze’s "Build Your Own Box" app: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open "Build Your Own Box" app from the Menu

First thing to do is go to shadowbreeze.com. The landing page looks like this, and you’ll see a Menu bar right at the top center part of the page. Click the ‘Build a Box’ hyperlink to open the app and start customizing your care package.

Step 2: Select your gift packaging

The first thing to do is pick a gift packaging of your choice. Shadow Breeze offers a variety of pre-made boxes or care crates including round hat boxes, seagrass baskets, wooden crates, and branded boxes you can personalize with your preferred logo or text. Choose one that will bring a smile to your recipient's face.

Scroll down to see several options you can choose from. Once you’ve taken your pick, Click the 'Add' button to select the gift package of your choice.

Then, Click ‘Next’ on the bottom right part of the screen to confirm your choice and proceed to select your gift items.

 

Step 3: Select items you want to add

After choosing your gift packaging, you can now select the items you want to include in your custom care package. The items are divided into categories. As you can see in the screenshot, we have Candles and Essential Oils. 

Scroll down to see all available options. Once you’ve picked, click the ‘Add’ button above the item.

You can see your items added on the panel above with pictures and on the list of Order Details on the right. You can add as many items as you want per category, and you can see the total price of your gift box changing under the Order Details whenever you add items.

Once you’re done selecting your item/s from this category, click again on the ‘Next’ button. This will take you to the next gift category. 

If you don’t want anything from a certain category, just click Next again to move forward to other categories. 

 

 

 

 

 

If you feel like going back to a certain category, click on the ‘Back’ button until you find it.

If you wish to remove certain items, click the minus - button. If you only added one of that item, it will be removed. If you added more than one, the number will be reduced by one for every click on the minus button.

You can start over again and choose all different items with one click on the ‘Reset’ button in the upper right corner of the Order List photo panel. This will remove all items you selected so you can choose again.

Review all the items you’ve picked from the Order List photo panel and the Order Details list, to make sure you didn’t accidentally add items or forgot to add certain items. 

Once you have all the items you want for your care package, click the ‘Next’ button.

 

Step 4: Select your greeting card

Curated boxes here at Shadow Breeze all include a free personalized greeting card. This is a category you cannot skip. Scroll down to see all available options. Pick a card that goes with the occasion. For care packages, we suggest a Get Well Soon card, a Thinking of You card, or a Gift Just For You card. 

Once you’ve picked, click the ‘Next’ button.

Step 5: Add your message

Add the message that will be printed on your card. It could be a heartfelt message, an encouragement, or a simple greeting. Add the text on the box provided and click ‘Next’ when you’re done.

 

 

Step 6: Finalize your box

It’s time to place your order, so click the ‘Complete’ button. As stated below, if you need to order more than one gift box, place a separate order for each box, even if shipping to the same location. This is to guarantee that the contents of each gift box are placed in the correct box.

 

Step 7: Fill out the shipping information

The last step is to fill out the shipping information. In this section, you have to input the recipient’s name and address. You can also add a different delivery message to the gift box if you want, so it will be written on the package when delivered.

Important: Input your email address for confirmation and tracking purposes.

 

Once done, click ‘Continue to Shipping’. Once you’ve completed shipping and payment details, that’s it. You’ve completed a customized care package.
