The Campaign
As teams transitioned to remote work during COVID, BASF wanted to stay connected with employees in a meaningful way.
The goal was simple. Show appreciation during a time of uncertainty while reinforcing a sense of support across a distributed workforce.
Rather than sending something generic, the campaign was designed to feel thoughtful, useful, and relevant to employees’ new day-to-day environment.
The Solution
We designed a custom care package centered around comfort, practicality, and appreciation.
The gift combined high-quality, branded essentials with items that supported the work-from-home experience, creating something employees could immediately use and enjoy.
To make the experience more personal, each package included an option for employees to select a charity of their choice, with a donation made by Shadow Breeze on their behalf. This added a meaningful layer that extended the impact beyond the gift itself.
We handled the full scope of the project, assembling and shipping 1,000 gifts across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The Result
The result was a more thoughtful and human approach to employee appreciation during a challenging time.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all gesture, employees received something that felt both useful and intentional, while also having the opportunity to support a cause that mattered to them.
The campaign helped BASF maintain connection with their team, reinforce their culture, and deliver a moment of appreciation that went beyond the gift itself.
